Jack Hunter and the Lost Treasure of Ugarit

Young archaeologist Jack Hunter travels to France intending only to photograph a cuneiform tablet from the ancient city of Ugarit, once a thriving Mesopotamian metropolis in what is now Syria. However, he is caught in the act and forced to steal the tablet from a private museum to escape and protect the valuable artifact. He returns to the U.S. unaware that this journey is just the beginning of an extraordinary adventure.

His mentor, Professor Frederic "Freddie" Shaffer, believes the tablet contains a coded map leading to a long-lost treasure. Shaffer urges Jack to join an expedition to uncover the secrets of Ugarit, but Jack declines—tired and unwilling to dive into another risky mission. However, the situation quickly changes when it becomes clear that dangerous individuals are also after the artifact.

Thrown into a race against ruthless treasure hunters, Jack must team up with old allies and face betrayal, ancient traps, and deadly secrets buried deep in history. As the mystery of Ugarit unfolds, Jack realizes that this is not just about treasure—but about keeping a powerful force from falling into the wrong hands.
