जम्मू-कश्मीर के मुख्यमंत्री उमर अब्दुल्ला ने महबूबा मुफ्ती के प्रदर्शन को लेकर कहा कि यहां प्रदर्शन करने से कोई फायदा नहीं होगा क्योंकि जम्मू-कश्मीर की सुरक्षा से जुड़े फैसले दिल्ली के गृह मंत्रालय में होते हैं। उमर अब्दुल्ला ने कहा कि महबूबा मुफ्ती को दिल्ली जाकर गृह मंत्री अमित शाह से मिलना चाहिए और अपनी बातें वहां रखनी चाहिए। उन्होंने यह तंज भी कसा कि प्रदर्शन अगर केवल दिखावा है तो कोई आपत्ति नहीं, लेकिन असली समाधान के लिए मामला दिल्ली में उठाना जरूरी है। महबूबा मुफ्ती द्वारा राजनीतिक बंदियों की रिहाई को लेकर आंदोलन के बीच यह बयान आया है।
