Trump Tariff on India: अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति डोनाल्ड ट्रंप द्वारा भारत पर लगाए गए अतिरिक्त 25% टैरिफ, यानी कुल 50% आयात शुल्क, 27 अगस्त से प्रभावी हो गया है। इस फैसले से भारत से अमेरिका को निर्यात किए जाने वाले कई उत्पाद महंगे हो जाएंगे, जिससे भारतीय निर्यातकों को बड़ा झटका लगने की आशंका है सूरत डायमंड और टेक्सटाइल इंडस्ट्री के लिए दुनियाभर में मशहूर है. ऐसे में अमेरिका की तरफ से भारत पर लगाए गए 50 फीसदी टैरिफ का असर इन दोनों उद्योगों पर पड़ता दिख रहा है. हालांकि कारोबारियों को उम्मीद है कि सरकार जल्द की नुकसान की भरपाई के लिए कोई रास्ता निकालेगी.
