In Bihar's Muzaffarpur, criminals travelling in a Scorpio managed to flee after reversing the vehicle at high speed when police attempted to stop them near Gandhi Chowk while heading towards Ashok Chowk. Police chased the vehicle and fired two to three rounds near Ashok Chowk, but the suspects escaped towards Baidyanathpur. Eyewitnesses suggested the gang was planning a major crime.
