This video is a re-upload from one of my other Dailymotion channels, which I've been meaning to consolidate. It features the legendary and sometimes-haunting company IDs of Sony Pictures Television Studios, from the classic "Screen Gems" logo of 1973 all the way to their modern look in 2021.

Ever been in a dark room, watching an old show, and suddenly you're hit with that blinding Columbia Pictures "torch lady" logo and the sound of a thousand suns being born? Or the majestic, yet slightly terrifying, TriStar Pegasus flying straight at you? If you know, you know. This is a nostalgic trip down memory lane that proves even corporate logos can leave a lasting impression on our psyche.

I'm still deciding if the Screen Gems logo is a satanic symbol or just a really weird "S." I'm also pretty sure the Columbia torch lady is a low-key superhero whose power is blinding us with pure light. She's definitely more effective than my car's high beams, that's for sure.
