Unrivaled, the women’s 3-on-3 basketball league, announced Monday that its valuation has risen to $340 million following a new funding round that included Serena Williams, according to CNBC. Serena Ventures joined a Series B funding round for Unrivaled led by Bessemer Venture Partners, with Warner Bros. Discovery and Alex Morgan’s Trybe Ventures also participating. The league did not reveal the size of each investment. The league’s valuation surged from $95 million a year ago as women’s sports gain momentum with fans and investors. Other backers include Billie Jean King, Stephen Curry, Coco Gauff, and Michael Phelps. Founded in 2023, Unrivaled runs during the WNBA offseason and offers players the highest average salary in women’s sports history, along with equity stakes.
