The National Tertiary Education Union has welcomed the resignation of ANU's vice-chancellor Genevieve Bell. Professor Bell resigned after mounting criticism of her handling of the university's cost-cutting program. Dr Lachlan Clohesy from the NTEU says it's unclear whether there will be substantive changes at ANU while Julie Bishop remains chancellor.
