Calm returned to Kathmandu on Friday after days of anti-graft protests that left 34 dead, over 1,300 injured and forced the resignation of Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli.

Soldiers continued patrolling the capital’s streets, where charred vehicles and debris remained at major landmarks.
