New Yorkers gather outside Yankee Stadium and react with shock and sorrow to the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, as President Donald Trump and other officials honor the slain ally during a ceremony marking the 24th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks. 'He’s a family man… and it’s just very, very sad to see that happen to anybody. Doesn’t matter what side of the spectrum you’re on,' said Chris, a technician outside the stadium.
