पिछले काफी समय से जातीय हिंसा से जूझ रहे मणिपुर के दौरे पर पहुंचे पीएम मोदी ने राज्य को विकास की बड़ी सौगात दी। साल 2023 में भड़की जातीय हिंसा के बाद यह प्रधानमंत्री की मणिपुर की पहली यात्रा थी। इस दौरान उन्होंने 7000 करोड़ रुपये की परियोजनाओं का शुभारंभ किया और घाटी एवं पहाड़ी क्षेत्रों के लोगों के बीच सौहार्द बनाने के लिए महत्वपूर्ण बातें कहीं। प्रधानमंत्री ने स्पष्ट किया कि किसी भी प्रकार की हिंसा दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण है और यह पूर्वजों तथा आने वाली पीढ़ियों के साथ अन्याय है। उन्होंने मणिपुर को शांति और विकास के रास्ते पर मिलकर आगे बढ़ने का आग्रह किया।
