''I was visiting Bolu, Türkiye, with my friends. It's also my hometown and the city I grew up in,'' she told WooGlobe.

''My boyfriend had planned a marriage proposal for me.''

But instead of a gentle lead-in, the whole plan involved snowballs.

''But I hate snowballs,'' she added.

So, naturally, she dodged them like a winter warrior.
