Russia Creates "Bars-Sarmat" Squadron with Yak-52 to Hunt Ukrainian Drones

In Russia, the first "Bars-Sarmat" air detachment has been formed to intercept long-range Ukrainian drones using light aircraft such as the Yak-52 and Yak-18T.
👉 The aircraft have been adapted with light weaponry and operate with the support of air defence forces and tactical radars to locate targets.
⚡ The method follows a tactic already used by Ukraine, which also employs Yak-52 sports planes to shoot down reconnaissance drones and Shaheds.
