Cooking up change: Digital Kitchens empower communities and fuel local growth

Deputy Minister of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Datuk Dr Fuziah Salleh launched the 13th edition of the “Digital Kitchen” (Dapur Digital) initiative at the Seri Perlis II People’s Housing Project (PPR) in Datuk Keramat on Sunday (Oct 5), describing it as an innovative step that goes beyond promoting food entrepreneurship.
Fuziah revealed that 25 digital kitchens have been allocated under this year’s budget, with 15 already operational and the rest expected to be completed by the end of the year.
She added that the programme will gradually expand nationwide, with plans for an additional 25 digital kitchens in the pipeline.
