Lift Mein Anjana Saaya | Raat Ki Khamoshi

It was 2 AM. The entire building was deserted, and all the staff had gone home. I was alone in the lift — or at least, I thought so.

As the lift slowly moved up, I felt someone exhale behind me. I turned around — nobody was there. I tried to convince myself it was fatigue, just my imagination.

The next morning, when security checked the CCTV footage, they saw a shadow behind me in the lift — blurry, yet moving. Strange enough, the shadow entered the lift… but never came out.

Even today, whenever I step into that building’s lift, I can hear the same slow, eerie breaths.

रात के दो बज रहे थे। पूरी बिल्डिंग सुनसान थी, सारे कर्मचारी जा चुके थे। मैं अकेला लिफ्ट में चढ़ा — या शायद मुझे ऐसा लगा।

लिफ्ट धीरे-धीरे ऊपर जा रही थी, तभी मुझे लगा किसी ने मेरे पीछे सांस ली। मैंने पलटा — कोई नहीं। मैंने खुद को समझाया — 'थकान है, वहम है।'

अगली सुबह जब सिक्योरिटी ने CCTV फुटेज देखा, तो लिफ्ट में मेरे पीछे एक परछाई दिखाई दी — धुंधली, लेकिन चलती हुई। अजीब बात ये थी कि वह परछाई लिफ्ट में अंदर तो आई… लेकिन बाहर कभी नहीं निकली।

आज भी जब मैं उस बिल्डिंग की लिफ्ट में जाता हूँ, मेरे कानों में वही धीमी सांसें गूंजती हैं।
