In tabling Budget 2026 at the Dewan Rakyat on Friday (Oct 10), Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said the government will allocate RM1 billion next year to further strengthen the Ikhtiar Madani Untuk Rakyat (Madani Initiative for the People) initiative, empowering rural communities nationwide.
