इजरायली सेना ने दावा किया है कि हमास द्वारा युद्धविराम समझौते के तहत लौटाए गए चार शवों में से एक बंधक का नहीं था। सेना ने फोरेंसिक जांच के बाद यह बात कही। हमास ने अब तक 20 जीवित बंधक और 8 शव लौटाए हैं, लेकिन इजरायल सभी मृत बंधकों को लौटाने की मांग कर रहा है। यह अदला-बदली अमेरिकी मध्यस्थता में हुए युद्धविराम समझौते का हिस्सा है।

The Israeli military has claimed that one of the four bodies returned by Hamas under the ceasefire agreement was not that of a hostage. The military made this statement after a forensic examination. Hamas has so far returned 20 living hostages and eight bodies, but Israel is demanding the return of all dead hostages. This exchange is part of the US-brokered ceasefire agreement.
