Welcome everyone to my little mystery section. Did you ever have a recurring dream about someone in your life and it wasn't good. Maybe you just remember bits and pieces of the dream but when waking up, you feel a sense of foreboding. I know, I have. Well in today's movie from 1945 called Strange Illusion, we have our friend Paul Cartwright. Now Paul lives with his widowed mother Virginia. While away on vacation Paul has a strange dream about his father, who was once a Judge, now deceased. So Paul rushes home, only to find that his mother now has a new beau named Brett Curtis. Mmmm, is this the man from his dreams. Can Paul connect the dots from his dreams or is he going off the deep end, just missing his father. Well before you go to sleep, you will just have to watch to find out. Staring in this dreamy tale we have...James Lydon as Paul Cartwright, Sally Eilers as his mother Virginia, Jayne Hazard as Dorothy Cartwright, Warren William as Brett, Regis Toomey as Dr. Vincent, Charles Arnt as Professor Muhlbach, George H. Reed as Benjamin, Jimmy Clark as George, Mary McLeod as Lydia, Pierre Watkin as Armstrong, John "Perry White" Hamilton as Mr. Allen and a few more. So let's make some Dreamsicle cocktails, maybe make some Angel Dream Cake and enjoy. Also I have to say I really like the art deco poster that they made for this film. Thanks so much for stopping by and watching.
