An international group of 11 companies including Corning, Coupang and Panasonic signed Letters of Intent at Taiwan’s Business Alliance Conference, pledging more than 1.5 billion US dollars in new projects. Officials say the event helped draw total investment commitments exceeding 5 billion US dollars and reflects strong confidence in Taiwan’s economic growth.
