A groundbreaking new study shows that taking 2,000 IU of vitamin D daily can significantly slow the shortening of telomeres — the protective caps at the ends of our chromosomes linked to aging and age-related diseases. Researchers followed over 1,000 adults aged 65 for five years and found those on vitamin D preserved 140 more base pairs on their DNA compared to placebo groups. Watch.
