Police ensures safety of athletes in Batang Pinoy Games amid reports of child molestation

General Santos City police heighten security measures and set up child protection desks for the 2025 Batang Pinoy Games following allegations of sexual molestation of a minor by a teacher-coach. Station 2 Commander Jethro Dave Doligas said police responded upon learning of the incident that happened at the athlete's quarters. The male suspect remains in custody at Station 2, where he refused an interview request from The Manila Times.
