A passenger has died when the truck he was travelling in crashed into a rail bridge in the New South Wales central west. Another man believed to be the driver managed to free himself after the cherry picker vehicle hit the bridge in Lithgow. The driver has been treated for minor injuries. The trapped passenger later died after failed attempts to rescue him from the truck's crushed cabin.
