Typhoon Fung-wong brought heavy rains to Hualien and Yilan on Taiwan's east coast on Tuesday (Nov 11), flooding an area that already saw 18 people killed by an earlier typhoon in September.

Taiwanese authorities have evacuated more than 3,000 people, issuing a land warning for the arrival of the typhoon.
