NATO Allied Joint Force Command Norfolk (JFCNF) posted dramatic footage on Tuesday, Nov. 18, of Norwegian submarine KNM Uthaug torpedoing the decommissioned warship KNM Trondheim and destroying the ship in an exercise. The action was taken as part of the Aegir 25 exercise, which took place off the coast of Andfjorden, a fjord in Norway. “Recently, during exercise Ægir 25, submarine KNM Uthaug 🇳🇴fired one of its torpedoes at the decommissioned frigate [warship] KNM Trondheim, with the aim of sinking the vessel,” JCNF wrote on X.
