Racial profiling concerns over police power to stop and search without a warrant

Victoria Police have declared Melbourne's CBD, Docklands, Southbank, the sporting precinct, and parts of East and South Melbourne a "designated area" to extend the search powers, from November 30, 2025 until May 29, 2026. Video via AAP.
