The Selangor government is prepared to channel and assess assistance to help Kampung Jawa residents in Klang to reduce their monthly rental costs under the Smart Rent Scheme (Skim Smart Sewa).

State housing and culture committee chairman Datuk Borhan Aman Shah said 21 applications had been received for review to assist tenants who had applied as recently as Nov 26.
