New museum showcases European art collections of Philippine envoy to Spain

A new museum showcasing the European art collections of Philippine Ambassador to Spain Philippe Jones Lhuillier is set to open in Antipolo. On Dec. 2, 2025, the Museo P. Lhuillier was opened to the media. It features religious artifacts and other artworks sourced in Europe by Ambassador Lhuillier. The 4-story building has 3 sections: Religious, furniture, and ivory and silver with over 500 pieces collected by the ambassador. During a museum tour with The Manila Times, Serene De Vera from the Research Department of Palacio de Memoria shared that most of the pieces date back to around the 17th century, acquired from European markets.
