Gov Rosal leads lighting of Christmas tree in Albay park

Albay Gov. Noel Rosal, together with lawmakers and local officials, lights up a giant Disney castle-inspired Christmas Tree at the Peñaranda Park Dec. 6, 2025.

Hundreds of Albayanos gathered at the park for food and fun despite the bad weather. The Peñaranda Park was opened to the public four months after the collapse of steel braces of a tarpaulin roofing of the stage on Aug. 30, 2025, injuring five students.
