POC aims to surpass 2023 SEA Games medal haul

Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) president Abraham "Bambol" Tolentino set a realistic goal for Team Philippines at the 2025 SEA Games in Thailand.

Rather than aiming for the overall championship, he wants the team to exceed its previous gold medal count.

Sending out 1,168 athletes in the biennial multi-sport event, the president managed his expectations and just wanted to see an improvement.

The Philippines finished with 58 golds in 2023 SEA Games Cambodia, and this time the POC president wants the athletes to hit the 60 gold medal haul count.
