A Queensland skydiver survived after his parachute became entangled on a Cessna Caravan’s tail at fifteen thousand feet. Dragged out of the plane, he cut the reserve lines with a hook knife and landed with minor injuries. The aircraft, also damaged, descended safely at one hundred twenty knots. Authorities later issued safety warnings about exit procedures and equipment checks.
