Eight individuals file plunder, malversation, bribery and other charges against Vice President Sara Duterte and 15 other former and current officials of the Office of the Vice President and Department of Education over the alleged misuse of confidential and intelligence funds worth P612.5 million.

In an interview during the filing on Dec. 12, 2025, one of the complainants, Magsaysay awardee Fr. Flaviano Villanueva, said that they wanted the vice president to be accountable while Dr. Sylvia Claudio reiterated that their case was not a political move against Duterte.
