A joyful Hanukkah celebration at Bondi Beach descended into horror when two gunmen opened fire on families gathered for the “Chanukah by the Sea” event, an attack now captured in chilling detail by newly surfaced drone footage. The aerial video, verified by multiple international media outlets, shows alleged attackers Sajid Akram (50) and his son Naveed Akram (24) dressed in black and armed with long-barrel firearms, firing from an elevated pedestrian footbridge overlooking Archer Park. The footage corroborates bystander accounts that more than 100 shots were fired as the gunmen used their height advantage to target the crowd. At one point, one attacker leaves the bridge and is confronted off-camera by heroic bystander Ahmed al Ahmed, who disarmed him despite being shot, before the attacker returns to rearm.
