The final note never fades. A reclusive audio archivist, obsessed with preserving lost sounds, acquires a collection of rare wax cylinder recordings. Among the crackling folk songs and forgotten speeches, she finds one labeled only with a coordinate and a date from a century past. When she plays it, she doesn't hear music or voice—she hears a presence. A consciousness trapped in the grooves, using the resonance of the needle to see, to feel, and to remember what it was.

At first, it's a fascinating echo. Then, it becomes a parasitic duet. The entity within the recording begins to layer itself over her reality, using sound to reshape her world and stitch its memories into her mind. To live forever, it needs a new instrument. And her body is the perfect vessel. She must silence the song before the last track plays, and her own voice becomes just another part of its eternal performance.

ALTER — Fear Has a Frequency.

Content Warning: This film contains themes of psychological possession, auditory horror, and intense surreal imagery.
