Frank Van Der Kloot — Fontessa 1976 (Netherlands, Progressive Rock)

After the breakup of the band Fontessa, Frank Van Der Kloot released a solo album, Fontessa, in 1976. His second solo album, Heavy Days Are Here Again, was released in 1978. Frank currently owns a guitar shop in The Hague. Original vinyl copies are hard to find.

Dutch guitarplayer who was "live" always much heavier than on his 2 solo-records.
The first time I heard him was "live' on dutch radio and he played wild and raw
So I decided to buythe album . It appeared to be his 2nd album ; Here labelled as Fontessa 1978 but in Holland released as Frank van der Kloot- Heavy days are here again. Unfortunally it has only 2 memorable tracks.

his first solo-album is also not heavy on the guitars. It's more an instrumental proggy affair but much better than his second album. several memorable tracks.

proggy/rock fans should give it a spinn!!purpleoverdose Oct 21 2007
