Eumir Marcial knocks out Vietnam foe to advance to SEA Games Finals

Olympian Eumir Marcial knocks out Vietnam’s Manh Cuon Nguyen in the second round of their semis clash to book his finals ticket in the 33rd Southeast Asian (SEA) Games on at the Chulalongkorn University Sports Center on Dec. 17, 2025. Marcial finished the match after a strong right hook in 35 seconds of the second canto, to keep his light heavyweight (80kg) title in the SEA Games alive. Marcial’s bid to get his fifth gold medal continues as he will next face Indonesia’s Maikhel Robberd Musket in the final.
