Most dangerous asteroids don’t come with warning signs, and some are almost impossible to spot until it’s too late. Astronomers say a whole class of space rocks hides in the Sun’s glare, making them nearly invisible to our telescopes. These objects could approach Earth from directions we barely monitor. That doesn’t mean panic—but it does mean our planetary defense has blind spots.
