29.11.2025: British Police arrested 25 activists, taking the suspects into custody under the Terrorism Act after a civil disobedience protest was staged in #Birmingham city centre in support of proscribed group Palestine Action.
West Midlands Police said the arrests were made during a Defend Our Juries demonstration in the city, at which "a number of people carried placards expressing support for Palestine Action".
The group was proscribed by the Government in July, making being a member of it or expressing support for it a criminal offence.
Similar protests have been held across the United Kingdom throughout November.
