Former Pakistan captain and Pakistan Under-19 team mentor Sarfaraz Ahmed has said that the team did not win the Asia Cup because of him alone. While talking after the final victory, Sarfaraz Ahmed thanked Allah Almighty and praised the hard work of the players, management, and coaching staff.

He said the boys had been working extremely hard for the last four to five months and deserved full credit for the victory. Sarfaraz added that his role was only to unite the team, while the management and coaching staff played a vital role in the team’s success.

Sarfaraz Ahmed also highlighted the team’s excellent comeback during the tournament and praised the players for performing fearlessly in the high-pressure final. He said the way the boys played throughout the tournament was outstanding and truly commendable.
