Officials of the Manila local government, led by Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso, lead the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the newly renovated Emergency Department of Ospital ng Sampaloc in Manila on Monday, December 22.
The upgraded facility now features a nine-bed treatment and resuscitation area, a centralized medical gas system, surgery and minor operating rooms, triage and admitting areas, treatment and observation rooms, a decontamination area, and various support facilities. Improvements also include staff and PWD-friendly washrooms, medication and storage areas, as well as an enhanced entrance lobby, waiting area, and roofing to further strengthen emergency care services.
