The Kremlin has rejected claims attributed to U.S. intelligence that Russian President Vladimir Putin aims to capture all of Ukraine and reclaim parts of Europe that were once part of the Soviet Union.

Responding to a Reuters report citing unnamed U.S. intelligence sources, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said the assessment was incorrect and questioned the reliability of the sources. Peskov stated that if such conclusions were being drawn by U.S. intelligence, then they were “absolutely not true.”
