鳥と間違えしがみついてしまった飛行機によって未知の国・日本に来てしまったアフリカの王子が、日本の少年から受けた一宿一飯の恩を返すため、その少年の家に居候し 以降 家族や友人たちを巻き込みドタバタ騒ぎを起こすのが 本作・ジャングル黒べえです。

Mistaking an airplane for a bird, an African prince clings to it and ends up in the unknown land of Japan. To repay the kindness of a Japanese boy who gave him lodging and a meal, he stays at the boy's house. From then on, he involves the family and friends in a series of chaotic antics.
