Flowers mark spot where Cabral died

A bouquet of flowers rests at the spot in Tuba, Benguet on Christmas Day, Dec. 25, 2025 where former Department of Public Works and Highways undersecretary Maria Catalina Cabral was last seen before her death on Dec. 19. Cabral appeared before the Independent Commission for Infrastructure as a resource person. Cabral was found dead after allegedly falling from a ravine in the area. Autopsy reports showed she died from blunt force trauma consistent with a fall.
