On Saturday, Thailand and Cambodia announced the signing of a ceasefire agreement, ending 20 days of fighting over a decades-long border conflict. Defense ministers Natthaphon Narkphanit and Tea Seiha confirmed that both sides agreed to an immediate halt to hostilities, extending to all types of weapons and attacks on civilians, infrastructure, and military objectives. The clashes had killed more than 100 people and displaced over half a million civilians in both countries. The agreement is set to take effect at noon local time.
