Road Transport Department senior enforcement director Datuk Muhammad Kifli Ma Hassan told reporters on Sunday (Dec 28) that the department had received consent from the Attorney General's Chambers to impose fines ranging from RM5,000 to RM10,000 under Section 108 of the Road Transport Act against road users for using fancy number plates.
