Malaysia has lost one of its most respected voices in economics and social development.

Professor Datuk Dr Madeline Berma, a prominent economist, academic, and human rights advocate from Sarawak, passed away at her home in Bandar Baru Bangi on Tuesday (Dec 30) morning.
