Russia’s Defense Ministry claims it has released a detailed map alleging a large-scale Ukrainian long-range drone operation targeting President Vladimir Putin’s residence overnight between December 28 and 29. According to Moscow, a total of 91 drones were launched from multiple locations inside Ukraine, flying north through regions including Bryansk, Smolensk, and Tver toward Novgorod, where Putin’s residence is located. Russian authorities say air defenses were activated, intercepting 49 drones over Bryansk, one over Smolensk, and the remaining 41 over Novgorod, insisting none reached the target or caused damage.
