The Malaysian government is closely monitoring the situation in Caracas, Venezuela, following reports of security operations in the capital.

In a Sunday (Dec 4) press release, Malaysian authorities reiterated their firm stance against foreign intervention and the use or threat of force, emphasising the need for dialogue and peaceful resolution in line with international law and the UN Charter.
