Residents of Taman United low-cost flats in Kuala Lumpur were shocked to find their homes damaged and ransacked after returning on Jan 1, more than a month after a landslide forced the evacuation of 52 units in Block C.
Many units were affected by mud, flooding and debris, while some residents reported break-ins and missing items, raising concerns over security during the evacuation.
