Progressive groups protest U.S. intervention in Venezuela near U.S. embassy in Manila

Students and youth groups stage a protest along Kalaw Ave near the United States Embassy in Manila, on Monday, January 5, to condemn what they describe as recent attacks and destabilization efforts against Venezuela, actions they say undermine the country’s sovereignty and endanger the lives and welfare of the Venezuelan people.

The rally also denounces alleged U.S. imperialist aggression and calls for respect for Venezuela’s right to self-determination. (via Mark Balmores | MB)
