Sudan is facing the world’s worst internal displacement emergency, with 9.3 million people forced from their homes and more than 4.3 million seeking refuge in neighboring countries. Over 21 million are suffering from acute hunger, with famine confirmed in El Fasher and Kadugli. The crisis is aggravated by ongoing violations of international humanitarian law, including massacres during the occupation of El Fasher by the Rapid Support Forces.
