Cabinet Reports More Fathers Applying for Parental Leave

The Cabinet says there were more fathers applying for parental leave, with the proportion of male leave applicants hitting nearly 27%. Despite the increase, Taiwan’s ranking in the World Economic Forum’s Gender Gap Index has dropped, possibly due to fewer female officials in government.
